Terracotta Warrior and the Statue of Liberty Get It On [Semi-NSFW]

4 Nov 2010

Check out this artwork that reportedly first appeared in a Huangqiu newspaper of a Terracotta Warrior and the Statue of Liberty falling in love, making love, and starting a family.

It’s interesting that the unknown artist chose a male military statue to embody China, and a female statue representative of freedom to embody the United States, as opposed to, say, Guanyin and the Lincoln Monument. Applicable to U.S.-China relations? The 9/11 image is certainly provocative, if anything.

See more images after the break.
