Indonesian Group Rages Over Pamela Anderon’s Playboy Donation

1 Nov 2010

It’s not exactly terrorist money, but her breasts are their own kind of mass destruction. A local extremist group is decrying ex-Baywatch star Pamela Anderson’s donation of $25,000 from a Playboy cover shoot to help disaster victims in Indonesia, reports the Jakarta Globe.

The country has been hit by multiple natural disasters in the last month, displacing thousands of Indonesians. Yet despite the chaos, a representative of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) describe her photoshoot “[to be] challenging a bigger disaster to happen in Indonesia. It’s haram (forbidden).” The FPI, a hard-line group known for their violent tactics, previously vandalized Jakarta’s Playboy office in April 2006, though the publication did not print any nude images.

There’s volcanoes erupting, typhoons blasting, and breasts are still the bigger issue.
