A heads up to people in Hong Kong during late January — check out this upcoming event.

MaD, or Make a Difference, is an event that aims to be like TED, except catered to young people. A conference with talks and workshops on issues of creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and exploration. Speakers include President of the Rhode Island School of Design John Maeda, Hong Kong filmmaker Pang Ho Cheung (I love this guy, I’ll do a post on him soon), CEO of the Nobel-affiliated microlending Grameen Foundation Alex Counts, war journalist Cheung Chui Yung, innovation consultant Sir Ken Robinson, and founder Tony Hsieh. Sweet.
